askmenosecrets: (this strikes me as a bad situation)

Arcadian Forest Party

This was more work that he usually bothered to put in, Pan thought, especially here, at home, but everything was set.

At first glance, it appeared to be a forest clearing, beautiful and wild but nothing different than a hundred other clearings spread throughout the woods of the Arcadian mountains. But when you looked again, Pan thought, you saw something quite different. Hidden in the trees were a series of structures suspended in air, hung with ivy and dew, and through the mist-shrouded branches you could see the faint glow of light, and you could smell the scent of fire and food. There was the fire pit, a circle suspended in the arms of a large oak with a crackling golden fire, a roast, and bowls of marshmallows, chocolate and crackers waiting. There was the bar, stocked with a rich variety of wines and alcohols and staffed by two of the satyrs. And then there was the forest floor itself, bare now, but waiting for the dancing. On all sides of the floor, there were cushions on the low branches and benches of fallen logs, each accompanied with wooden buckets full of wine and beer bottles and glassed suspended with vine.

"Well," he said to Zaffre, currently wrapped around his neck, "I think we're ready." Pan flicked a leaf off his forest green turtleneck and looked around with approval before pausing. "We're almost ready," he corrected, and pulled his pan flute up to his lips.

The forest filled with music as he played, music that began as the mystical songs of the flute, but transformed as he let the instrument fall to his side - transformed into thrumming, sensual rhythms and intricate guitars that would encourage the party-goers to...well, Pan thought with a sharp grin, to be bad. Very bad.

"Let the games begin," Pan said.

[Notes: Everyone in [livejournal.com profile] fortuna_invicta is invited, the more the merrier in Pan's opinion. If anyone needs directions to the right section of the forest, let Pan know on the SWS post. Mingle! Get drunk! Stuff your face! Find a secluded tree and do naughty things! Pan approves highly of all these pursuits. Format = narrative third person, if you please!]

"Your glass is almost empty, Dad," Pan said as he dropped onto the cushion next to Dionysus. His hair was ruffled and his cheeks flushed, for what reason was anyone's guess. "You make me feel like a horrible host." Of an orgy.

"And I suppose your father cannot force him--" Hyacinthe bit back his words and hid behind his beer glass. "I am sorry, it is not my place to question the will of the gods."

"If I elaborate it might just inflate your ego," Selene mused, falling easily back into her comfort zone now that the initial shock was over.

She licked the chocolate from her fingertips before picking up a skewer. "And it's my very intention to keep you humble... Or as humble as I can."

Pan's brow arched and he grinned. "Are you?" he asked, and patted the flute strapped to his side. "We should duet." He looked around at the wild crowd. "Perhaps a little later," he added with a flashing smile.

That earned a sarcastic snort, but a grin followed. "Ohh, I'd love to be the proverbial fly on that wall, to see Zeus go up against Helios."

Unable to stifle his snicker, Apollo merely shook his head, reaching out to push the beer bottle aside and stroke a thumb across the mortal's cheek. "No, my dear one. I am resigned to my duties by now. We are as the Fates have decreed, and besides, there's no other I'd trust such a great responsibility to, not in my backwards family."

"You want to chase me?" he asks, kissing back and barely breathing out the words, hovering close enough that if one were to glance their way they might still be kissing. "Pretend I don't want this as much as you do?"

It was an interesting prospect.

"Perhaps I should let you."

"Is it?" Dionysus answered sedately, before tipping the glass against his lips and draining it completely. Wordlessly, he moved to hand the glass to Pan. "There you go. Bring me a snack while you're up, too."

Pan rolled his eyes and snapped his fingers, refilling his glass. "If you want a snack, there's food by the fire pit," he said, pointing. "That's where the orgy's based too, for your information, pops."

Hyacinthe allowed himself a smile at that.

"I couldn't more with that, I'm afraid." He chuckled. "Better that someone who takes genuine interest in their work take up that all-important task than one whose interest would only be token and probably dangerously fleeting." A blush blossomed under Apollo's hand and he looked down again "So I suppose all of us mortals owe you a tremendous favor, looking after the Light like that."

Upon arrival at the party, Nemesis had intended to head straight to the bar (because, after all, what was a party without one?), but, as soon as she caught sight of the marshmallows and chocolate by the fire, those plans changed. Making s’mores took precedence over everything else. It didn’t take her long after that to find a seat by the fire, skewer a marshmallow, and make one. Or four.

He could feel every pulse of her pleasure thrumming through him and his through her, back and forth in a feedback loop that nearly made him lightheaded with need. His lips parted as he thrust in again, faster and harder, wanting, needing to watch her come apart.

"Freya," he gasped, kissing along her jaw, pressing his lips against her pulse, "my lady, please, take us there."

And, immediately, he replaced the glass to his mouth, taking a long drink. "I know. I can see it from here. Excellent party. Looks like everyone's having fun." And Dionysus? He was just happy to bask in the glow of the carefree energy - sexual and otherwise - filling the place.

Pan laughed, his hands gliding over Ganymede's shirt and then under. "Pretend for me," he whispered as his fingers brushed over soft skin. "Pretend I have to convince you how good it'll be. Pretend I have to tell you how much I'll make you feel."

He pulled Ganymede against him and pressed a leg between the youth's, pressing upwards. "It'll be fun, Ganymede, I promise."

Pan's eyes widened innocently, and he pressed his hand to his chest. "I'm crushed, Selene," he said as he rotated the marshmallow on the skewer. "I'm the most humble god in all of Arcadia." The only god in all of Arcadia, but minor detail.

He extended the skewer. "Marshmallow, my lady?"

She was reeling from the sensations rippling through every inch of her body, His need for her was palpable as was hers for him. Freya was letting out a cacophony of pleasure filled sounds for the hole of the forest to hear, as his thrusts picked up in tempo and power.

"Oh--" her eyes rolled into the back of her head, and her toes curled inward. One more thrust and she was an explosion of pure raw esctasy, her orgasm strong enough to possibly give any passerby one of their own by proxy, "EROS!"

[identity profile] bringsthelight.livejournal.com 2010-12-12 07:20 am (UTC)(link)
The god's fingers trailed beneath Hyacinthe's chin, gently urging him to lift his head. "Nay, belovèd," he entreated quietly, "be not disquiet. Look upon me with joy, as I would have thee do."

Another tender touch and Apollo lowered his hand. "You owe me nothing. 'tis my duty and my right as caretaker of the Light and Patron of the Sun."

He lounged back again and smirked at his father. "I guess I could say I learned from the best," he said. "Or I could just say I picked it up somewhere." He surveyed the crowd, and then stiffened as there was a veritable wave of pure lust.

"Well, Freya's having fun," he drawled. "Or Eros. Or both, really."

[identity profile] lovessweetbait.livejournal.com 2010-12-12 07:23 am (UTC)(link)
Eros shrugged good-naturedly, not concerned one way or the other. "The s'mores are proving popular. Can I tempt you?" He blinked innocently at her, and the question could easily have been about the s'mores. Really.

[identity profile] panikondeima.livejournal.com 2010-12-12 07:23 am (UTC)(link)
"I'll switch to bourbon," Pan said to Demetrius, and sat as the satyrs made their drinks, turning to Addie. "You're friends with Apollo," he said easily, "but we haven't met before."

[identity profile] moonlitselene.livejournal.com 2010-12-12 07:23 am (UTC)(link)
Selene grinned at his dramatics. "But of course you are, my dear Pan," she laughed. She pushed hair hair out from her face, still giving him that toothy grin.

"Ever a gentleman, aren't you?" she cooed, using the graham cracker to pull the marshmallow from the skewer and sandwich it with the chocolate.

Dionysus groaned softly, unashamedly, lifting his hips slightly and arching his back pleasurably against the cushion. "Mm," he rumbled, eyes half-lidded as he took another long gulp of the wine, "that was almost too nice."

[identity profile] lovedoftwogods.livejournal.com 2010-12-12 07:26 am (UTC)(link)
Hyacinthe shivered when Apollo lifted his chin and spoke to him as he used to, the antiquated speech a comfort, bringing with it the memory of poetry exchanged as they lay near each other. As such, the shiver was not unpleasant and his smile grew only wider. The tension went out of his shoulders and his guard seemed to drop, just enough for the youth Apollo had once loved to become visible again.

"All the same, you are due at least heartfelt thanks, though so many will not even consider what a burden it is to keep them all alive."

[identity profile] addiesands.livejournal.com 2010-12-12 07:27 am (UTC)(link)
"Ah, no. I haven't met any other deities but Apollo. I'm Addie." She stuck out her hand for a handshake, but paused. While Apollo had shook her hand the first time they had met, she didn't know if that's how other deities acted, too.

[identity profile] panikondeima.livejournal.com 2010-12-12 07:28 am (UTC)(link)
"My mama raised me right," Pan said dryly. In truth, he might recognize Dryope if he saw her. Maybe.

"So, whatever have you been up to?" he asked. "Just the usual for me. Chaos, sex, trouble. Boring, really."

[identity profile] goldendiscordia.livejournal.com 2010-12-12 07:28 am (UTC)(link)
Eris couldn't help but smirk at that innocent grin. "Trying the innocent act only works on those who don't know who you are, Eros," she mused.

Setting her drink down, she shrugged her shoulders. "But you were always good at tempting."
