Pan laughed softly into Selene's ear, his hands sliding up and down to meet at her waist again, and he lifted her slightly as he sat up, kissing her sharply again as he settled her on his lap.
"That's better," he murmured into the kiss, and he tugged her flush against him as the flames leapt at his back.
