"Is that an objection, Morpheus?" Eros asks mildly, with a faint smile. He could press ahead, or he could back off, depending on the other god's wishes. Pressing ahead at this point would likely involve slipping the tie behind its owner's neck and sitting in his lap, and he'd proceed from there, but he can just as easily stay where he is. It's entirely up to the dream-god.
